After the huge success of Bahubali, there was a panic among the South Indian superstars. Suddenly, he felt that Prabhas, the artist of tomorrow, had overtaken him. This gave Kaja Rajinikanth and Kya Chiranjeevi, all competing to give a big successful film. Crores of films started being produced.

To fulfill this desire of Chiranjeevi, his son Ramcharan has created Saira Narasimha Reddy in which Chiranjeevi is introduced in ‘Bahubali’ style.

Saira Narasimha Reddy fought against the British and tried hard to drive the British out of the country. Chiranjeevi has played the same character in the film.

The character named Saira Narasimha Reddy has a hangover of Bahubali, which makes the film grand, but also leads to fakeness.

The film has been written by Paruchuri Brothers and directed by Surender Reddy. He has divided the film into three parts.

The character of Saira is set in the first 45 minutes of the film. Scenes have been made to show how powerful he is, mighty, fearless. This part of the film is very boring because everything is exaggerated so that this part is not reliable at all.
The second part then shows the confrontation between Saira and an English officer. Saira kills this officer who harasses the public in the name of Lagaan.

The death of this officer inflicts mercury on the British and they send an army armed with cannon and gun to capture Saira and Saira keeps on throwing them. This is the third part of the story.
What is surprising is the length and repetition of the film. Many scenes are unnecessarily long. After a point the writer and director had nothing to tell, so the story became a victim of duplication.

The sneak-peek scenes of the British and Saira go on and on and the story feels stilted. The events leading up to the story are not vigorous which also creates boredom in the film.

At the climax itself, the film gets a little emotional, but by then it is too late and the audience is in a mood to go home.

Focusing too much on Chiranjeevi is also the film’s minus point. This has weakened the story and other characters which have had a direct impact on the film. Artists like Ravi Kishan, Jagapathi Babu Mukesh Rishi and Sudeep got side-lined.

Surprising is for Amitabh Bachchan. He is hired only because he is a well-known artist and because of this the North Indian audience is attracted towards the film. Amitabh has done this role only for friendship with Chiranjeevi. Nayantara and Tamannaah Bhatia did not get much chance either.

Director Surender Reddy failed miserably in trying to become SS Rajamouli. His presentation was average. He has the entire fault of not being able to use expensive budgets and good artists. A better director could have done better justice with this story, budget and star cast.

Editing of the film is also not good. Technically the film is strong. In terms of music is weak.

Chiranjeevi’s performance affects. He has also done stunts at this age. It has given the necessary attitude to the character and made the character Larger than Life effective with his performance. Big eyes have proved to be an important part of his acting. A superhero as he is. Sadly, the script and the director did not reach their level.
Overall, ‘Saira Narasimha Reddy’ failed to meet the expectations.
